Chappaqua Primary Suite
Dominique Michelle Vidal designed this primary suite in Chappaqua, New York, with a coordinated approach to the bathroom, bedroom and closet planning. Warm wood, soft color and layered lighting bring continuity to spaces with different daily uses.
In the bathroom, a freestanding tub sits beneath a Roman shade beside a glass-enclosed shower. White rectangular wall tile and a black hexagon shower floor create contrast, while dark wood vanity cabinetry adds warmth and storage.
The bedroom pairs a wood bed and matching nightstands with mint-toned table lamps, blue drapery and a large area rug. A green reading chair and ottoman, side table and floor lamp create a place to unwind. Design boards and detailed plans guided the selections, followed by ordering and delivery coordination.
